Finally Telling Someone You Have Feelings For Them

Now a days, many people are afraid to tell that "special someone" that their digging them, but I dont blame them, rejection can some times be a BITCH. When telling someone you have a crush on them, there's a 50% chance they will say "Oh really, I was feeling the same way" where as there is another 50% chance that they will say " I'm sorry, but I just dont feel the same". Getting that reply can sometimes devistate you because in your mind you feel as though is not fair. I believe thats its harder to tell your best friend that you like them than it is a stranger. My reasons behind this is because with a stranger, you can be like " I have a crush on you" and if you happen to face rejection, most likely you will move on to the next and think nothing else about it. Whereas with your best friend, its already difficult to tell them and then on top of that if you face rejection, there's probably a 20% chance that your friendship will slowly drift apart. This doesn't happen very often as long as you act like it didn't phase you. Most people are afraid to tell because they feel as though it might hurt the chances of them staying friends. I had a situation similar to this, but it didn't affect our friendship at all, it actually brought us closer in my opinion. So if you have feelings for someone don't hide them, push to what you want.
